Deputy Head of Anglia Learning & Teaching at Anglia Ruskin University. Andrew is a National Teaching Fellow and Principal Fellow of the HEA. He leads the UK Media-Enhanced Learning Special Interest Group (MELSIG).
Andrew publishes about academic innovation. Books include Reimagining Spaces for Learning in Higher Education (2018), Smart Learning (2015), Digital Voices (2013).
Andrew is currently researching learning space and place with a focus on learning walks, the hashtag as learning space, and 'studio for all'. Common to all of these are ideas such as boundary crossing especially disrupting binary notions such as formal and informal space.
